CELEBRATING ALBERTA IN SONG!
I have created a concert filled with songs I have written, with love, about this wonderful province of Alberta!
I performed this concert throughout 2025 which was 120th anniversary of Alberta joining Confederation!
However, I received such a groundswell of enthusiasm for this concert I am looking to find more opportunities in 2026 to bring this concert and these songs to more people.
The concert is built around my YYC Music Awards Folk Recording of the Year nominated song MY ALBERTA HOME!
The show is upbeat and interactive. We will ask a few history questions and have some Alberta prizes. We have some small Alberta flags and Maple 's Great Adventure Canada book series has an Alberta book for a door prize as well.
This is not a dry history event but a fun interactive event with a wide range of styles of songs including folk, swing, country, protest, bluegrass and historical story songs.
The purpose of the song and the concert is to encourage an awareness of a love for this province of Alberta with the hope that it might turn into a need to act when necessary!!

Folk Roots
I am a singer/songwriter/story teller and love working with these two very talented musicians.
I play rhythm acoustic guitar and sing lead vocals.
Steve Goodchild has been working with me since 2019 and is an amazing man of many strings! He plays various guitars, mando, banjo etc. etc. He also adds great arrangement ideas and harmony!
Laurie Anne Fuhr is my new found friend and awesome bass player. She has a purple upright bass and an electric bass when needed. Her harmony is another wonderful addition to the trio along with her warmth and charm on stage.
Together we present a variety of styles and song subjects! I write in a wide range of styles and so this makes for a varied and interesting concert.
I can also perform as a duo and a quartet to suit your budget and needs.
